Colombians had a reason to smile when Paulina Vega was crowned Miss Universe last Sunday. She is the first Colombian candidate winning the contest after 57 years when Luz Marina Zuluaga won the title.
Miss Colombia Paulina Vega beat the top five candidates: Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell, Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha, Miss USA Nia Sanchez and Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen. All of them are beautiful women which made the competition harder. Miss Jamaica was one of the favorites for her particular beauty and unique style.
Paulina Vega caught the eye of the judges with her beauty, body and great personality. Her elegance and smile were important features that helped her to become one of the favorites since the beginning of the competition.
